Below are some guiding steps for TAs and GAs.
Creating basic learning videos
There are 3 aspects or steps to creating the simplest form of lesson videos. They are:
Phase 1: Written content lesson
Phase 2: Voiceover
Phase 3: Adding pictures, graphics and animation.

Phase 1. Written content lessons: These are mostly derived from the handouts given by the lecturers. The written tuition lessons forms the most important part of the tuition, because it forms the basis for the voiceover and graphics. Below is the checklist for the written content:

Make your content or lesson notes be as detailed as possible. This helps avoid too much explanation, The lecture notes normally used for this.

It is helpful if your written content are in PowerPoint slides.

Rid your work from every form of grammatical or other forms of error as your students may criticize it.

Phase 2. Voiceover: Voiceover helps to explain video lessons. You can record your work using AI voiceover tools or you can choose to record it with your own voice.
When you choose to record it with your own voice, you can record each slide on a device such as mobile phone and import them onto the PowerPoint slides. This means you must find a quiet place (probably in the middle of the night) or invest in a microphone to ensure a good audio quality. Here's your checklist to ensure a good voice recordings.

You can simply read the content of the text so as to avoid deviation.

Your audio recording must be devoid of background noise.

Your audio recordings must be clear and be devoid of any form of interferences.
Note: Some phones can help you with good audio recordings.
Phase 3. Pictures, graphics and animations: Here are a few checklists for adding pictures and graphics.

It is advisable to use original pictures or graphics or sourced from free stock photos on the internet. Ensure not to use pictures subject to copyright.

Pictures added to a slide must relate to the written content in the slide and should help explain what is being taught on that slide.

Animate the pictures/graphics to add fun to the content.
